Mothers of Preschoolers
MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers.
MOPS also believes that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That's why moms are connected all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find their identity by journeying along side one another.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, or kiddos from birth through kindergarten. Moms make lasting friendships through fun and fellowship. We have speakers at some of our meetings and do crafts at other meetings. Special activities are also planned like our Moms Night Out and Playdates for the kids. We do various community outreach, including Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse and assembling coloring books for Children's Hospital.
At First Frisco UMC, the MOPS group meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, 9:30 am - 11:30 am, in The Loft. Childcare is provided during our meetings. There is a fee associated with this group.
